Ultimate Game Guide: Boomers keeping up the hustle

December 23, 2019 | Melbourne Boomers news

Following a fantastic nine point triumph over the Adelaide Lightning, the Deakin Melbourne Boomers will keep on hustling over the holiday period as they come face to face with the Townsville Fire on Friday night.

Maintaining an impressive campaign this season the Boomers are currently sitting third on the ladder, with nine season wins and finals looking very likely.

Superstar point guard Lindsay Allen spoke about how the Boomers win against Lightning was imperative coming off a loss to Perth in round nine and how the team will strive to keep improving.

“I think for us it was just bouncing back from that Perth game and being more focused and everyone kind of showing up and being there fully within the game so I think just carrying that momentum to Townsville.”

“I think just continuing to work through things as a team and work through our offence and cut down on the turnovers throughout training this week will be important.”
