Mamma Ball is a free women-only basketball skills and fitness program providing social connection for participants. Each weekly session is tailored to suit those who attend, no matter their skill-level or experience. Mamma Ball is inclusive of those who identify as a woman and non-binary participants.
Coached by current and former Deakin Melbourne Boomers players, Mamma Ball is all about relationships, fun, encouragement, sense of belonging, and creating a safe space for participants to play, connect, and support one another every week.

Nope. Mamma Ball welcomes everyone to join in and play at their own pace! From beginners to seasoned veterans, all are welcome, as each session is tweaked to suit the attending participants.
Come wearing suitable activewear and shoes. Runners are perfectly fine if you don’t have basketball shoes. Bring along a water bottle. We will provide the basketballs.
