Tiffany Mitchell to Miss Round Six Game

Deakin Melbourne Boomers star guard, Tiffany Mitchell, has returned to Melbourne for scans on her wrist and will not line up in today’s game against the Adelaide Lightning.

Mitchell, who is leading the league in scoring, sustained the injury in the second quarter of the game against the Sydney Flames on Friday night, however was able to return in the second half to complete the game and finish with a stat line of 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

Miela Goodchild will take Mitchell’s place in the starting line-up against Adelaide today. We will provide further updates following the assessment of Mitchell’s injury.
