Melbourne starts pre-season training
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers have officially kicked off their preparations for the 21/22 WNBL season with day one of pre-season training.
After an induction day yesterday – where the team got to familiarise themselves with their new state-of-the-art facilities at Parkville – they returned today to get to business.
Penina Davidson was fresh out of quarantine after competing for the New Zealand Tall Ferns in the FIBA Asia Cup.
There were plenty of new faces, in the building. Lou Brown, Lily Scanlon, and Tess Heal all took to the court with our returning players.
Lindsay Allen and Tiffany Mitchell are confirmed to be arriving in Melbourne on the 9th of November and joining the team on court on the 11th!
Our fixture is out, the excitement starting to build. Make sure you don’t miss out seeing the Boomers dominate on court this season by grabbing yourself a membership – we’ve got full season, 10-game and even 4-game options – something for everyone.
