MELBOURNE ROSTER ALMOST COMPLETE WITH ADDITION OF CHARLISE DUNN

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are excited to announce Charlise Dunn as a development player for the 21/22 WNBL Season.
The 184 centimetre eighteen-year-old Victorian is fresh off the back of representing Australia at the U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup Hungary in August this year and was a scholarship holder with the 2020 Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Despite representing Victoria and Australia on multiple occasions, Dunn knows this is just the beginning of her basketball career.
“Through these experiences I have learnt many new skills, however I am beyond excited to get to work with the Melbourne Boomers.”
“I knew I wanted to be a part of a team that would push me to become a better player and person before I head off to college.
“The Boomers is exactly this, and after some conversations with Guy I can’t wait to get started.”
Dunn is grateful and raring to go in what is her first opportunity to play and train with a WNBL team.
“Having the opportunity to be challenged by some of the best is going to be hard work, however I am looking forward to the challenge and becoming a better player throughout.
“I want to be a part of a successful organisation that can bring back a championship to Melbourne!”
