Jordin Canada selected as finalist for WNBL MVP
Deakin Melbourne Boomers’ Jordin Canada has been selected as a finalist to receive the coveted WNBL MVP award for her tremendous season in the WNBL.
The LA native commenced her first ever WNBL season last year and has made a significant impact on the league, averaging 34.3 minutes, 14.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
She also sits atop the WNBL leaderboards for both average assists (7.8) and average steals (2.9) per game.
Her IQ shines on court and is a fantastic player to be shortlisted to receive this prestigious award.
Our #0 is nominated amongst Canberra’s Jade Melbourne, Adelaide’s Isobel Borlase, Townsville’s Sami Whitcomb and Sydney’s Lauren Nicholson.
The award will be presented on Sunday night, February 25 with the other nominations for the other awards to be announced each day this week.
