July School Holiday Clinics

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers Academy, supported by Mirvac, returns to Parkville these July School Holidays.

Catering to young basketball enthusiasts aged 6-16, these clinics create a dynamic platform for skill development and fostering a love for the game. They are designed to accommodate boys and girls of all skill levels, ensuring that every individual experiences growth and enjoyment.

Supporting our Academy Head Coach, Zoe Zwerling, are a group of highly experienced support coaches, many of whom have played at the highest levels of Australian basketball. Our coaching roster includes WNBL players who bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and real-world insights to our training sessions.


 

Empowered – July 8 & 11
This female-focused clinic is for girls aged 11-16 wanting to build their confidence on the court. It includes a 1 hour interactive High Performance Mindset Workshop that equips young female athletes with the confidence to adopt the tools for resilience and leadership.

Advanced – July 9
This program is designed for female basketballers who are committed to reaching the highest level of skill and performance. Through specialised coaching from WNBL players, advanced techniques, and strength and conditioning, our Advanced clinic empowers young female athletes to excel.

Junior – July 10
Our Junior Academy is for boys and girls of all abilities looking to practice their basketball skills and have some fun. The day blends structured coaching sessions with interactive activities, providing a safe and encouraging environment for participants to thrive.
