Gippsland Launch: Bringing the Boom to Gippsland
Last week, the excitement was palpable as the Deakin Melbourne Boomers brought the Boom to Gippsland for the official launch of their highly anticipated November 26 Gippsland Game against local star Jade Melbourne and the UC Capitals.
Sara Blicavs and Taylah Simmons of the Boomers had an absolute blast meeting local stakeholders and touring Boomers’ ‘home away from home’ Gippsland, including a chat with Ed Cowlishaw at Southern Cross Austereo, a tour and talk with AGL, attending the Gippsland Launch Function and a visit from Jade herself!
