Boomers round out roster with development player Jacqui Trotto
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are thrilled to round out their 21/22 WNBL Season roster by signing Jacqui Trotto as a development player.
Trotto is pleased to be returning to the WNBL after competing as a development player with the Southside Flyers in the past. She has been a part of the Ringwood Hawks NBL1 side for the past three years, where she is known for her ability on the defensive end.
“It was a no brainer to jump at the opportunity to be back training at the highest level.
“From what I’ve experienced already, the Boomers is an amazing place to be, with a great culture and wealth of talent and knowledge.”
In the process of coming back from an ACL/MCL injury in 2020, in recent years, Trotto has also been lucky to enough to represent Monash University twice on the international stage, at the 3×3 world Uni Games in Xiamen and is always looking for opportunities to stretch herself and improve her game.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity to learn and grow my game alongside a bunch of incredibly talented players and coaches.”
