Boomers In Purple And Set For Home Opener

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers have welcomed commercial partners and guests to the 2018/19 Chemist Warehouse WNBL Season at the Club’s official Season Launch.

Held at Deakin University Burwood, the full roster was on show and welcomed by all with each player receiving their purple Boomers singlet ahead of this Saturday night’s Home Opener against Bendigo.

Jenna O’Hea was announced as Captain, a role she filled successfully last season.

Tony Hallam (Chair) and Justin Nelson (GM) announced record numbers for Grassroots Club/Association Partners, now at 81, and a record number for Members, now more than 2,500.

The Boomers have two more team training sessions ahead of Saturday night’s game with a clean bill of health and a full list to select from.
