Boomers Announce Ticket Details For 18/19 Season
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers set record crowds last season, leading the WNBL with many of the league’s biggest audiences, including 3,755 at the State Basketball Centre for Grand Final Game 2.
This season Melbourne’s WNBL team has moved further towards all online bookings being for Reserved Seats, while tickets at the door will all be General Admission and subject to availability.
“The number of people purchasing tickets online has jumped significantly in recent years and we expect the same again this season,” said Boomers GM Justin Nelson.
“Our advice to all fans is to first and foremost support the club with a season membership, but if you are buying game tickets go online and reserve your seats.”

To further encourage the rise in pre-booking tickets online, the Boomers have set the same pricing for online purchases (Reserved Seats) and tickets at the door (General Admission).
“The benefit of purchasing your tickets online is you will be able to reserve your seats and pay the same price as what a general admission ticket will cost you at the door on game day,” explained Nelson.
“The key difference is online you can reserve your seats and guarantee your place, which for many of the bigger games is a great benefit.”
“For everyone with general admission memberships or all the juniors with two-game memberships, we encourage you to arrive at games early to ensure seating, or of course at any time you can purchase reserved seats online or upgrade your membership to one with a reserved seat.”
