Boomers And Spirit Join Forces For Triple Crown

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers and Bendigo Spirit will join forces over the next four days to take the Chemist Warehouse WNBL to Gippsland.
Competing for the Triple Crown, which will be played out over three games in Traralgon, Maffra and Warragul, the tour also includes multiple community engagement opportunities and school visits.
All up a touring group of 45 people will descend upon the region, starting in Traralgon before heading to Sale, Maffra, Churchill, Morwell and Warragul.
“It’s a big operation and has taken some work putting it all together, but the team behind the scenes have done a brilliant job and we’re looking forward to a successful trip,” said Boomers GM, Justin Nelson.
“On behalf of everyone at the Boomers, I’d also like to thank Simon Pritchard and the Spirit for helping bring the Triple Crown to life. We will be playing in front of big crowds and really excited fans. It’s a great outcome for the WNBL.”
Tickets to both Maffra and Warragul have sold out, while people are urged to pre-book tickets to Thursday night’s Traralgon game to ensure they get good seats.
