When it comes to entertainment, the Deakin Melbourne Boomers want to make sure every fan goes home from AusDayEve 2 having enjoyed an action-packed night.
With a CLB 3x3 competition running through the afternoon on a purpose-built outdoor court, the Boomers have joined with Basketball Victoria to now add a South Sudanese dunk contest to the half-time entertainment.
Melbourne United NBL star Majok Majok is expected to be on the judging panel, along with former WNBL stars Robyn Maher and Tracey Browning.
"We want people to enjoy a great afternoon and evening of entertainment," said Boomers GM, Justin Nelson, adding, "We always work hard to put on a good show and we're really excited to be adding this dunk contest to our half-time entertainment package."
Wednesday night's WNBL game at the State Basketball Centre tips off at 7:30pm. All junior players (17yrs & under) wearing their club colours (singlet, warm-up top, hoodie, polo) to the game will receive free entry.
For adults and any other child (not wearing their colours), tickets can be purchased at the door or online HERE.
