Boomer Cayla George Joins Dallas Wings

The connection between the Deakin Melbourne Boomers and Dallas Wings continues to grow following the announcement Cayla George (number 22) will be joining Liz Cambage in Arlington, Texas.

Cayla’s return to the WNBA came quickly as the Wings looked to improve their rebounding power around Liz.

“Cayla brings a versatile game to our roster, with the ability to play multiple positions on the floor,” Wings President & CEO Greg Bibb stated. “She is an outstanding rebounder and a player who has the ability to extend her shooting range well outside the paint. We are excited to add her to our team.”

The connection between the Boomers and Wings has been evident over the last year with Dallas management attending a game in Melbourne last season, followed by Boomers management visiting the Wings’ headquarters earlier this year.
