Biggest Week Of The WNBL Home And Away Season Is Coming
It’s being billed as the biggest week of the 2018/19 Chemist Warehouse WNBL season – separated by just a few days more than 4,000 WNBL fans will flock to the State Basketball Centre during Cup Week to watch the Deakin Melbourne Boomers play two huge games.
In what has become the league’s biggest game outside of finals, Cup Eve (Monday November 5) will once again be a not-to-be-missed event. This year the Boomers take on Bendigo, a team they will be keen to beat following a surprise opening round loss to the Spirit.
Tickets to Cup Eve are available HERE.
Just days later, the Boomers will stage their annual Wear Your Colours game (Thursday November 8), where every junior (17yrs & under) attending the game wearing their own junior club colours will receive free entry. The game will feature Melbourne’s WNBL team up against Sydney, a contest that always comes with plenty of passion.
Parents, families and adults attending with their children can purchase reserved seats online or buy general admission tickets at the door. Either way, tickets are the same cost.
Tickets to Wear Your Colours are available HERE.
“It’s a big week for the Boomers and for the WNBL,” said Boomers GM Justin Nelson, adding, “On Cup Eve we have established a great family night out, while the Thursday night game will be a great opportunity to celebrate grassroots hoops.”
