March 3, 2022 | Melbourne Boomers news

Dear Boomers Fans, After the most disrupted season in WNBL history, we are almost at the end of the 2021-22 season. With only three games to go (two homes and one away), we have officially qualified for finals and can now turn one eye to the post-season!Our final three games against Bendigo, Adelaide and Canberra will be crucial for deciding our place in finals and how many home games we play. For anyone who is unaware of the finals structure, the 1st and 4th placed team face off in semi final one, while the 2nd and 3rd placed teams face off in semi final two. Each of these semi finals will be a best of three, with the highest place team hosting games one and three and the lower placed team hosting game two. The grand final will follow the same structure. The final series will start on Wednesday March 23 and will conclude on Saturday April 9. For our final three games of the regular season we have some important dates coming up. With many ups and downs this year, one the best moments has been the story of Carley Ernst’s incredible return to the WNBL four months after giving birth to her son Kylan. Carley has been an inspiration both on and off the court this year. Watch the incredible story of Carley below.

We can’t wait to see you cheering us on for our last two home games and finals!
