ADAIRS CONTINUE TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN SPORT

May 24, 2021 | Melbourne Boomers news

Since beginning as partners in 2018, Adairs and the Deakin Melbourne Boomers have had a strong commitment to improving and growing female sport. Adairs have now proudly committed to supporting the Boomers until 2023, which will take their partnership to five years.

Adairs strives to impact the lives of Australians inside their home, but their dedication to bettering the community that they operate in stretches far beyond that.

The desire from Adairs to support women in all walks of life, on and off the court, has seen them become one of the most beloved partners of the Boomers by its members.

Adairs giveaways that occur during home games gives fans the opportunity to score themselves a voucher to furnish them home with some Adairs classics.

Adairs CEO Mark Ronan said the partnership extension is ‘a further opportunity for Adairs to support and empower women in all walks of life. Our drive to inspire women in sport and in the community is something that our partnership with the Boomers allows us to achieve. Our commitment to this goal will always be at the core of what we do.’

‘Our business is family at heart and we’re passionate about supporting families to make their home better. The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are family focused and we’re happy to be a part of that family moving forward.’ Ronan added.

Deakin Melbourne Boomers General Manager Christy Collier-Hill said ‘the support of Adairs to improve the lives of female athletes in recent years has been remarkable, and we are excited to continue our strong partnership and grow female basketball in Melbourne – together.’
