Acknowledging and Thanking Our 2023/24 Valued Partners

December 27, 2023 | Melbourne Boomers news

As 2023 comes to a close, the Deakin Melbourne Boomers express their gratitude and acknowledgment to their new and returning partners for the 2023/24 Cygnett WNBL Season.

Deakin University marks its tenth year as the Deakin Melbourne Boomers’ naming rights partner. The enduring partnership, established in 2015 based on shared values, continues to play a pivotal role in the growth of Australia’s longest-running elite women’s sporting team.

Major Partners returning for the season include IKON Services, Adairs, LED Media, Civic Outdoor, Williams Shoes, Yarra Valley Grammar, 89.9 The Light, and Adara Hotels.

The Boomers would like to give special recognition for Bertocchi. This longstanding partner, with a remarkable history of over 15 years, has not only continued their unwavering support but has elevated their commitment to attain Major Partnership status.

Re-joining forces this season as Support Partners are Austbrokers Countrywide, Lucerne Investment Partners, Crown Coaches, Urban Rest, Alphington Sports Medicine, Basketball Victoria, High Sierra, Extra Financial, Kreol, Strapit and Content Smith.

Newest Support Partners were also welcomed to Boom Nation. Local North Melbourne pub, Bobbie Peels, joins as official Wine Partner, and Australia’s first tier 4 data centre, Micron 21, as official Technology Partner.

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers would like to extend thanks to Community Partners, Mirvac and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation for their dedication to the Club.

AGL Loy Yang will be supporting the Boomers in support of the regional game in Gippsland for three years, until the 2025/26 Season. A huge triumph for both the Boomers and the local Gippsland region.

Local Melbourne not-for-profit Helping Hoops also came on board this Season as Charity Partner. Jan 13 against Townsville will be the official Helping Hoops Game.

The collective support and dedication from partners, both longstanding and newly welcomed, serve as the cornerstone for the continued success and growth of the Club. They look forward to celebrating this success throughout the remainder of the Season.
