25 White Lions Set To Be Snapped Up To Support Youth In Crisis

December 20, 2018 | Melbourne Boomers news

This time each year the Deakin Melbourne Boomers play a home game in support of partner Whitelion, working together to support youth in crisis.

A couple of years back the club received a number White Lions to use as promotional gifts during the game and the demand fur the cute little toys has since become quite amazing.

“Not a game would by, any game at any point of the season, where I don’t hear a fan asking or talking about the White Lions,” said Boomers GM, Justin Nelson.

“We sell a lot of merchandise at games and have some amazing activation prizes and giveaways, but the demand for the White Lions is very high.”

Luckily for the Boomers the White Lions will be back this Sunday for the club’s Christmas Derby against Dandenong Rangers at 3pm.

Tickets are selling fast – reserve your seats HERE.

“We will have 25 of these little guys available for $25 each and all proceeds will go to Whitelion. But you’ll need to be quick because no doubt they will get snapped up very promptly.”

The Boomers will also announce a team MVP at the end of the game and the winner will receive a big White Lion and MVP medal.
